How Much Better Is Dwight Howard Than Andrew Bynum? #Magic #Lakers #D12

Lately there has been a debate brewing due to Dwight Howard and Andrew Bynum trade speculation . Everyone knows it's no secret that D12 preference is to be in a Laker uniform. The problem is LA already has a rising Center in Andrew Bynum. Drew is standing tall and turning in a career year.

It's becoming clear this year that Andrew Bynum poses a threat to Howard's status as the league's best Center. In my opinion D12 is the center version of LeBron James, he has no moves, but uses his athleticism to his advantage to explode on offense. Watch Dwight during the game and all you will see is him dunk. On the flip side, Bynum already has a arsenal of post moves coupled with a consistent baseline jumper.

Another factor not taken into account is the fact that Bynum has to share the post with another 7" foot All-Star who takes away from his rebounding statistically . He also happens to play with Kobe Bryant who has been a scoring machine as of late. Bynum is the third option and is still averaging 16.1 points and 12.7 rebounds per game. In Orlando Howard is allowed to dominate the post by himself. Dwight doesn't have to deal with having a player that demand touches or an All Star Power Forward in the post in Orlando.

Dwight easily has the defensive edge being that he is the entire defense for one team. Bynum is a good defender, however Dwight has been arguably the best defensive presence over the last few seasons. If Bynum can put together some healthy seasons he has the potential to become the best Center period.
