#49ers Fall In Grinder With #GMen #GoldRush #NYG #NFL
The San Francisco defense was fierce yesterday against the Giants down the stretch. The 49ers were not themselves in the ball control department, Kyle Williams two turnovers sealed their elimination fate. What's crazy is I expected a breakout game from Williams on offense with Ginn out. Had Ted Ginn been healthy,we could have been looking at a 49ers-Patriots Super Bowl. The ball just bounced the Giants way.... literally. Eli Manning made plays early and effienctly in the area of Victor Cruz. Vernon Davis was basically the 49ers passing offense with the Michael Crabtree "disappearing act" on live display.
Carlos Rogers and the 49ers secondary put together a solid second half. In my opinion Rogers played Cruz great in coverage given the circumstances of the weather conditions. Eli looked like he was putting darts on a bullsye with his precise throws. Eli cemented his clutch gene with crucial third down conversions.
#TRSB Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate Aldon Smith showed he will be a force to reckon in years to come along with stud linebacker Nvarro Bowman. Each of these young prospects played big roles in this 49er 3-4 last night. The 49er's future is bright and I could easily see them back in the NFC championship next year given their weak division. A talent heavy draft helps as well..I think wide receiver is a no brained for this team. In the end the Giants win to result of a much expected Super Bowl rematch with the Pats.
