The Miami Heat will begin their quest for a ring after the let down in the Finals against the Mavericks. Ironically the Heat could be in play to recruit a Maverick to join them. Veteran and former all star Caron Butler is scheduled to hit free agency and has received plenty of attention from other teams. The Heat would be unbearable if they manage to add Butler.
The move is less likely to happen being that Butler would have to take a steep pay cut; lose his starting role. Butler would provide some cushion to the " Big Three" with his scoring and defensive presence. Chances of the Heat signing him aren't completely out of the question especially since Butler used to play for them.
