During the off season lockout Heat forward LeBron James extended an invitation to South Beach to Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash via his twitter. As a two time NBA MVP, Nash could help the Heat at one of their weakest positions..point guard. At an older age Nash has remained an efficient point guard in the NBA and still has that elite play making ability. The only way Miami could land Nash would have to be some type of contract buy out or amnesty by the Phoenix Suns. Steve Nash is currently wasting aways the rest of his career with a rebuilding Phoenix Suns team. The move to Miami makes sense for Nash who like James does not have a championship ring. There would be no limit to how good the Heat would be with the acquisition of Nash running their uptempo offense. I would definitely keep an eye on this situation as free agency develops.
