The Miami Heat may have found the point guard they desperately need. Norris Cole scored 14 points in the fourth quarter against the rival Boston Celtics. Cole was one of the youngest Heat rookies ever to score 20 points in his second game.
Cole was a four year starter at Cleveland state and hails from Dayton Ohio. In his last year at Cleveland Cole averaged 16.3 points per game and 4.4 assists. Cole is currently in a battle for the starting position at point guard with Mario Chalmers.
Cole has already drawn comparisons to Boston's Rajon Rondo. Cole shows no fear to take advantage of his opportunities and was willing to lead the Heat to a quality win against a great opponent. I expect Cole to end this season as the starting point guard.
