NBA...Where Taking The Same Deal 2 Months Later Happens

Hello Realists,

Let me take a moment to introduce myself. I'm @5Alarms. A realist. A guy with some thoughts. That's all you need to know for now. I'd like to thank the original realist AK513 for allowing me this space. With that being said...

I've got some questions for the NBA. This is pretty much the same offer that was on the table about 2 months ago. Yes I understand that there were tweaks with BRI, total Salary Cap Spending and Max Contracts but really the frame is the same. Were the minute details really worth missing games? I'm looking at you Derek Fisher and Billy Hunter. Who cuts Billy Hunter's hair anyway? Fire them. I digress.

While I wait for answers to those questions I've got some questions for you...and you don't want no problems. So answer. Now.

  1. Will any team win 50 or more games this season? The logical choice would be the Heat or even the Bulls, but people forget that the second best record in the league last year was held by the Spurs.
  2. Which of the "Twilight Teams" (Spurs, Lakers, Celtics) will have the strongest run this year? Kobe, Pau, KG, Paul, Ray, Tim, Manu, and Co. are not getting any younger. Who makes that last run to glory?
  3. Where will Dwight Howard and Chris Paul end their seasons? I doubt it’s in Orlando and New Orleans respectively.
  4. Where will the major trade(s) happen this year? Who pulls a Kendrick Perkins style deal this year?
  5. Which team be the 2012 Grizzlies? Clippers? Golden State? Sixers? Bucks?
  6. Who will win Rookie of the Year? Do you even remember who your team drafted? Can Blake Griffin win again?
  7. Who wins MVP? If Durant slaps Westbrook one good time I think he wins it
  8. Who wins the Championship?

What do you think?
