With 44 receptions 745 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns AJ Green has been sensational this year as a rookie. Although his quarterback Andy Dalton has gotten consideration as well, Green has bailed him out in clutch situations.
Green has looked Moss-like in his rookie year with a rookie quarterback on pace to shatter hall of famer Jerry Rice's rookie stats of 927 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. Green has been quoted by Head Coach Marvin Lewis as "the best rookie I've ever seen."
Green came out as one of the top prospects in the 2011 NFL draft and has delivered. In his last season at Georgia, Green put up better numbers with a freshman quarterback and less games played due to his four game suspension. This kid has a chance to be something in this league and should be a strong candidate for ROY.
