The Blakeshow has taken center stage in the Staples center and has stolen the spotlight from the Los Angeles Lakers. The Clippers have seem to have finally clicked and are developing into an elite team in the Western Conference. After an impressive win a playoff atmosphere against the Thunder, the Clippers have validated themselves as a
threat in the West.
Chris Paul is averaging 18 points per game coupled with 8.9 assists and 2.5 steals. Blake Griffin is having a monster year averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds and is still putting players on posters. Chauncey Billups has fit in just fine in hit 2-guard role averaging 15.8 points per game and is shooting 37% beyond the arch. One player to benefit the most from the CP3 trade has been DeAndre Jordan who can be a absolute force in the paint with his 8.8 rebounds per game double with his lethal 3.1 blocks per game. The Clippers have found their sixth man in "Mo Gotti" Williams who is looking like his Cavalier days.
The Clippers have put a decent explosive team together when you add Caron Butler to that list who is also averaging 15 points per game and has provided a defensive wing presence that can score on the other end. The Clippers have a team built to go deep in the playoffs and I
think they are officially among the Western elite.
