Chris Paul is going to LA however he will be playing for the Clippers and not the Lakers. Paul will join rookie sensation Blake Griffin. Trust there will be a lot of alley oops this season. With Eric Gordon and Chris Kaman out of the starting lineup, the front court will consist of Blake and center DeAndre Jordan.
The Clippers will be a much improved team however I wouldn't rank them along the Western elite just yet. Chauncey Billups may not want to waste away his years in LA as a backup. At best I see them as a fifth seed who could cause trouble in the playoffs.
