The Washington Redskins have made a statement to the rest of the NFL that come the 2012 NFL Draft they expect to select heisman winner Robert Griffin III as their franchise quarterback. I like this deal even though the Redskins gave up three first round picks plus a second rounder. RGIII solidifies the void at quarterback the Redskins have needed for YEARS. RGIII will be able to pump life back into the Redskins fanbase as well as their horrid offense. This move makes the Redskins an immediate contender in the NFC East division. With a great defense already, it will be interesting to see what weapons Shanahan will use at Grffin's disposal and how much better they can be with an offense. The Rames came out of the trade good by moving back four spaces they received three first round picks plus a second pick that they can use to build around their franchise QB Sam Bradford. With the Colts blowing the entire team up I'm going to go out on a limb and say that RGIII is the early favorite for the Rookie Of The Year Award next season.
