#TRSB: #WaiverWireWizard : Championship Edition #NFL #FantasyFootball
Welcome to the last edition of #WaiverWireWizard. For those who have one game left here are some key pickups across the board:
QB: Matt Flynn GB Packers Proj: 17+
Reason: Flynn has shown in the past that he can step in as a backup and conribute. Flynn will also be displaying his skill set for any teams interested in acquiring him to be their starter. I think Flynn has a couple touchdown heaves in this game against Detroit
Alternate: Carson Palmer OAK (14+) , Christian Ponder MIN (14+)
RB: Toby Gerhart MIN Vikings Proj: 15+
Reason: With AP out look for the Vikings to expect Gerhart to toat the football this week. Percy Harvin could take a couple snaps away from Toby today, but Gerhart is a safe pick with nothing but double digit performances since week 12. Going against a Bears team without a consistent quarterback = turnovers... will help Gerhart in this situation.
Alternate: Khalil Bell CHI (12+) , Daniel Thomas MIA (10+)
WR: Denarius Moore OAK Raiders Proj: 10+
Reason: Moore has been a constant target for Palmer all season with playoffs on the line look for Carson to target Moore plenty. Moore is a roll of the dice, but as a Bengals fan I know Carson will give his favorie receivers looks against SD.
Alternate : Darrius Heyward-Bey OAK (9+) , Nate Burleson DET (7+)
TE: Jared Cook TEN Titans Proj: 8+
Reason: Cook came off a monsterous 22 point outing against Jacksonville and the light bulb upstairs must finally be on for the talented tight end. I like him to at least score with a couple of receptions, beats depending on Ed Dickson.
Alternate: Jeremy Shockey CAR (6+) , Kyle Rudolph MIN (6+)
DEF: IND Colts Proj: 7+
Reason: Blaine Gabbert Sucks, Nuff Said
Alernate: Dolphins MIA (7+), Broncos DEN (5+)
K: Graham Gano WAS Redskins Proj: (10+)
Reason: Why not go with the hot foot? double digits back to back & they're playing the Eagles.
Alternate: Dan Carpenter MIA (10+) , Matt Bryant ATL (8+)
