The San Francisco 49ers have been a surprise the entire season. No one expected this team to win 12 games by the end of this season. Nobody expected this team to beat the red hot Saints. This team continues to play the underdog to their advantage. Not only do they have home field advantage, there is no pressure on them to win.
I also believe the rainy weather could play a huge factor in limiting the Giants offense and making it a closer game. I like the 49ers to fly into the Super bowl under the radar. This is team runs a great 3-4 unit that was able to force Drew Brees to turn the ball over.
