#TRSB: A Star Is Born: DeMarco Murray
The Cowboys may have found a potential star in their third round running back DeMarco Murray. In his starting debut against the Rams, the Oklahoma product ran for 253 rushing yards breaking Emmit Smith's single game rushing record of 237 yards. Also in that same game Murray ran the second longest run in Cowboy's history with a 91 yard touchdown scamper. If that wasn't enough, Murray also broke Tony Dorsett's rookie rushing record of 206 yards in 1977. Against a stingy Seahawks run defense, Murray ran for 139 rushing yards on 22 carries. Murray was a projected under the radar 2-3 round selection mostly due to his lack of size (6-0 213 llbs.) . However for what he lacks in size he makes up in speed and ball carrier vision and is starting to develop chemistry with his offensive line. This kid has become a fan favorite of Cowboy Nation.
