#TRSB: Bucs Land Haynesworth
After Gerald McCoy went down for the season, the Bucs managed to find a quick stop gap defensive tackle in Haynesworth. The Bucs put their waiver claim in and were awarded Haynesworth. The Bucs had shown strong interest in signing him back in 2009. When Haynesworth first became a free agent the Bucs where considered his second choice and almost came close to landing him in 2009. After being cut by the Patriots as well as his locker room disruption in Washington, the Bucs should be weary of his motives. On the positive side, this move is great for the Buccaneers if they can get this guy into shape. He can be a dominant force and a veteran leader to their young talented defensive line. This move would also allow the Bucs to evaluate and decide if they want to keep Haynesworth long term. This is a solid move for the Bucs to stay competitive as well as improve their inside defense . According to BucsNation.com, The Bucs released DT John McCargo to add Haynesworth. #GoBucs
