It has been known for a while now that the Philadelphia Eagles have been looking to deal Asante Samuel for a lowly pick in this year's draft. Samuel spoke out about his discontent with his current deal and has expressed interest in a new deal that the Eagles have been reluctant to provide him. The Broncos seemed to be the first team interested as a report leaked last week, however recently the Falcons have emerged as a possible landing spot. According to numerous sources, the Falcons could be prepared to make a deal for Samuel. The Falcons would be a perfect fit for the 31 year old Samuel being that they have a "Win Now" mentallity. If this deal does happen Dunta Robinson could be on the outside looking in. Robinson has not lived up to the big deal that the Falcons signed him to; could become a cap casualty. With no first round pick this year's draft look for the Falcons to pull the trigger on this trade.
