The Celtics have still yet to win a game this season appear to be on the brink of panic. The Celtics have been in almost every game this season before getting blown out by the new-look New Orleans Hornets. The team has informed the media that Pierce will indeed return to the starting lineup tonight against the Pistons.
The age of the Celtics has been shown this season especially with KG. The most consistent and arguably the best player on this team has been point guard Rajon Rondo. Rondo has been fueled this season due to trade rumors during the offseason. With no Jeff Green for the year the Celtics are going to have to look for "The Big 4" to produce. I believe the Celtics will be just fine as long as Pierce returns. Sasha Pavlovic has been getting lit up defense lately and deserves to be benched.
