In a tight division overtime game against the Saints, Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike decided to roll the dice and convert a 4th and inches on his own 30 yard line. This was a horrible "Madden-like" decision on Smith's part. This move shows that Smith did not trust his defense to stop Drew Brees. In my opinion, if you are going to take a risk like that you have to atleast mask it. A fake punt would have been the better option. By any means Smith cost the Falcons a crucial division game.
