After an impressive 27-20 victory over the current NFC East leading Giants , at 8-1 the "Gold Rush" seems to be back in San Francisco. Carlos Rogers intercepted Eli Manning twice in this game . On offense Alex Smith has done exactly what the 49ers coaching staff has wanted him to do and has managed games efficiently.
